TURK-LAZ POET’S ARMENIAN GENOCIDE POEM
ON DIAMANDA GALAS’ WEBSITE

Turk-Laz poet Serkan Engin’s poem about Armenian, Assyrian and Pontian Greek genocides named “BARBARIAN AND MS DAISY” will be available on the website of worldwide known avant-garde music genius  Diamanda Galás.

This poem had been published in Armenian Poetry Project last month:

Here is Diamanda’s full message:

Dear Serkan,

Since you are so rare, and your writing spares noone and nothing,
including yourself-- who wears the tourniquet of innocence--
I would ask you if I may put your poem on my website
as a bold and daring poem written from what city? ( or is that too dangerous)
I am glad to know you. Among the supposed "innocent"
are those who would not like the genocides of the others
to be known: I thought you should know this.
How fascinating to find covetousness in so many bushes,
while we walk a way made narrow by them.

Kindly,
Diamanda Galas
